Service to his community has always been a priority to Dan Newman, as evidenced by his many years of service as a volunteer fire fighter and budget committee and select board member. Dan has served the people of District 76 well in the Maine House, with emphasis on tax exemptions for retirees and people on pensions, and property tax stabilization.

Dan advocated for greater emphasis on the opioid epidemic and funding for drug rehabilitation. Especially important for the folks living in our beautiful area was Dan’s support for protecting water quality in our lakes, ponds and other water bodies.

Dan Newman has always been a fighter for the Maine way of life. I will be voting for Dan on Nov. 8 and I urge my friends in District 76 to do the same.
