The Greater Augusta Back to School Program is partnering with the Augusta Fire Department for a Winter Coat, Mitten & Hat Giveaway from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Hartford Fire station at the top of Water Street in Augusta.
A total of 200 winter coats, mittens and hats will be provided for children in pre-K through grade 5. This will be first-come, first-served event; all the clothing is brand new.
