Cordellia Gagnon

AUGUSTA – Cordellia Gagnon, 90, passed away Nov. 16, 2022, at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation & Long Term Care at Glenridge. She was born on Aug. 23, 1932, the youngest of 18 children to Johnny and Roseanna (Poulin) Gagnon.

Cordellia grew up in Canada and moved to Maine in 1957. For 23 years she worked at Bates Manufacturing Company and then at the Carleton Woolen Mill for 16 years. She was a faithful member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and was a member of the Cushnoc Senior Citizens.

Cordellia enjoyed playing Bingo and was known for her delicious pea soup.

She was predeceased by all of her siblings.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as many dear friends.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial is going to be held on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at 11 a.m., at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 75 Northern Ave., Augusta, ME 04330. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery, Townsend Rd., Augusta. Arrangements are in the care of Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta.
