GREENVILLE, S.C. — Drew Hilton of South Gardiner was named to the Bob Jones University Chamber Singers. Hilton is a sophomore majoring in Christian Ministries.
Chamber Singers, conducted by Dr. Andrew Huish, is a 20-voice ensemble of upper level students studying voice and who hold membership in Chorale, the BJU top-tier choir. The BJU choral program is a graded system of five choirs which includes University Singers, all-freshmen; Lyric Choir, all women; Concert Choir, sophomores- seniors; Chorale, sophomores-grad students; and Chamber Singers, auditioned out of the Chorale.
The BJU choral program is a community of more 200 singers auditioned from the entire student body. Students from all majors are welcomed and inspired by professional choral faculty to discover the disciplines and joys of singing as they prepare and present choral music to appreciative audiences.
