Rockwood “Charlie” Moulton

DANVERS, Mass. -Mr. Rockwood “Charlie” Moulton 60, of Danvers formerly of Augusta, Maine, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the Twin Oaks Center in Danvers, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Bradford, Vt., he was the son of the late Leon Roy and Ellen (Dougdale) Moulton. He was raised and educated in Massachusetts and was a graduate of Salem High School.

Mr. Moulton had been employed as a warehouse foreman for NRF Distributors a flooring distribution company for several years until the time of his illness.

A sports fanatic, Charlie liked all things sports, baseball, basketball, football, and hockey. He especially followed the Portland Sea Dogs baseball team and the Portland Pirates hockey team. When it came to football, he supported his beloved Colts. An avid cat lover, Charlie supported and was very involved with Stray’s in Need of Maine. He enjoyed traveling to Prince Edward Island and the mountains of Maine. A lover of music he attended many concerts his favorite being KISS. Charlie possessed a humble, gentle spirit who always put a positive spin on any situation. He was patient, kind and was always a source of stability for his family. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

Surviving Charlie are his sister, Pamela Despres of Gloucester and his brother David Moulton and his wife Sharon of Salem, his nieces and nephews, Nick Moulton and his wife Lauren, Danielle Blanchard and her husband Bruce, Jeremy Despres and his wife Emily, Farrah Smart, Reagan Moulton, Zachary Moulton, and Trinity Moulton.
