Carolyn Goodwill

MILFORD, N.H. – Carolyn Goodwill, 78, most recently of Milford, N.H., grew up in Winthrop and raised her family in Amherst, N.H. She took on each and every health challenge over the past several years with courage, strength and unbelievable optimism. She battled back time and again. She was buoyed by her absolutely incredible network of neighbors and long-time friends.

She loved her family more than anything, and especially cherished summer vacations in Ogunquit. She enjoyed the beach, gardening and was an avid reader. She was a wonderful story teller – something her grandkids will remember fondly.

From her Westbrook friends and Potluck Group to her “lunch ladies” and book clubs, she was adored by many. Carolyn attended Westbrook College and had a long career as a dental hygienist with Drs. Kayser, Clark & Leighton.

Carolyn is survived by her sister, Hope and brother-in-law, Rick Cinquegrana, brother, Craig Meader; daughter, Liz and son-in-law Jeff Campbell, daughter, Katharine Goodwill-Brown; and grandchildren Ainsley, Maren, Fallon, Magnus and Orin.

She was predeceased by her beloved son, Michael.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Smith and Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm St., Milford, NH 03055. A funeral will follow at 12 p.m. in the First Congregational of Milford, 10 Union St., Milford, NH 03055. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Milford, N.H.
