AUGUSTA – Gladys M. Schacht, 101, passed away Jan. 1, 2023. She was a life member of the Order of The Eastern Star, Bethlehem Chapter, Augusta. Gladys was a member of the Green Street United Methodist Church in Augusta.

She is survived by a daughter and a son; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Gladys has a special thank you to Patricia Gelinas for all her care.

Services will be private for the family in the spring of 2023 at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta. Condolences to the family may be expressed to BrookingsSmith.com.
