The 2023 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast Celebration, co-sponsored by the Greater Bangor Area Branch NAACP and the University of Maine Division of Student Life, is set for 8:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16.
The event will be held in the Wells Conference Center at 64-82 Grove Street Extention, on the University of Maine Orono campus.
Tickets cost $20 for community members, faculty, staff and graduate students; they cost $15 for children younger than 12.
Admission is free for UMaine undergraduate students, sponsored by UMaine Student Government, according to a news release from Margaret Nagle at UMaine.

The breakfast is supported in part by a grant from the Cultural Affairs/Distinguished Lecture Series Fund.
