
Jeremiah James David Meader
SMITHFIELD – Jeremiah James David Meader, 42, passed away Jan. 1, 2023, in Smithfield. He was born April 27, 1980, in Waterville, the son of David and Darla (Brown) Meader.
He was a graduate of Lawrence High School in Fairfield, class of 1998. He was employed at New Balance in Skowhegan from 1998 to 2023. He was a member of the Smithfield Snowmobile Club, enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, party boat, hunting, working on small engines, hanging out with children ice fishing, huge New York Giants fan, Meader Racing-Grass Drag, Mooshead and camping, Mt. Keno.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ramie (Vigue) Meader of Smithfield; sons, Jordan Meader and partner Maddi Beaulieu of Pittsfield, Tyler Meader and partner Kate Getchell of Skowhegan; grandson, Weston Meader of Pittsfield; granddaughter, Kingsley Meader of Skowhegan; siblings, Cassie Sirois and husband James of Sidney, Jacob Meader and wife Christine of Fairfield, Jayde Meader and wife Carrie of Oakland; Father and mother-in-law, Raymond Vigue and Linda of Smithfield; sisters-in-law, Lisa Clark and husband Bruce of Fairfield, Tina Belanger and husband Russell of Fairfield, Rayanne Vigue of Oakland, Jamie Vigue and partner Tom Gatie of Oakland; grandmother, Mavis Brown of Waterville; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles who were all so special to Jeremiah and hold a special place in his heart. Jeremiah has many friends and a huge community of love in Smithfield and New Balance.
He was predeceased by his parents, Darla and David Meader; grandfather, James Brown; grandparents, Florian and Theresa Bolduc.
Visitation hours will be held Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023, from 12-2 p.m., at Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service (Adams Chapel), 445 Waterville Road, Skowhegan. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, from 2-6 p.m., at Iron Works Union Hall in Clinton.
