Nathan J. Martin

AUGUSTA – Nathan J. Martin, 43, died Monday, Jan. 9,2023, at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta following a long illness. He was born in Waterville on Aug. 2, 1979, a son of James W. and Linda L. (Manley) Martin.

Mr. Martin was a graduate of Messalonskee High School and had been employed by the Maine Veterans Home as a Chef. He had previously worked at the VA Hospital at Togus.

He is survived by his parents: James W. and Linda L. (Manley) Martin of Sidney and a sister, Jessica Parsons and her husband Benjamin of Stetson.

There will be no public visiting hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Western Ave., Manchester.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME.
