
Joseph W. Cook
LEWISTON – Joseph W. Cook, 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Lewiston on Wednesday Dec. 28, 2022.
He was born in Hartford, Conn. on Jan. 22, 1955, to the late Kenneth P. Cook, Sr. and Marion L. Owens.
Joseph was in the Navy for a short time in 1973. He worked construction jobs, which he loved to do. He was a social person with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed running Bingo games and was a volunteer at the local farmer’s market that he cherished.
Joseph is survived by his five siblings, Gayle Clark of Enfield, Conn., Sharon Pratt (Edward) of Crestwood, Ky., David Cook (MaryAnn) of Lewiston, Kenneth Cook (Nancy) of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Kelly Dang (Tai) of Farmington, Conn., his sister-in -law, June Cook of Vernon, Conn.; as well as his uncle, Carlton Owens, of Vernon, Conn.; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; his older brother, Douglas R. Cook; and his nephew, James M. Clark.
Services for Joseph will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop where condolences and memories may be shared with the family on the obituary page of the funeral home website.
