SKOWHEGAN – Sheldon R. Berry Jr., passed away Jan. 13, 2023, at the age of 72. He was born Oct. 14, 1950, to Sheldon R. Sr., and Mildred Addie (Richardson) Berry in Dexter.

Sheldon is survived by his life partner Darlene DeMerrit of Skowhegan, where they resided; his two daughters Robyn Berry of Madison, Shannon Hurkes and her husband Michael of South Portland; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his siblings, Judy LaPLant of Newport, Gordon (Skip) Berry of Delta, Pa., Keith Berry and his life partner Diana Fleischer of Newport, Kate Wolfe of Palmyra and Dale Berry of Corrina; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being made by Dan and Scott Adams Cremation and Funeral Service. A celebration of life will be held on Jan. 28, at 2 p.m., at the Eagles Club in Skowhegan. His burial will be held in the spring at Calvary Cemetery in Skowhegan.
