SKOWHEGAN —Landon Gabric led four players in double figures with 18 points to pace the Hampden Academy boys basketball team a 73-62 win over Skowhegan Monday night.
Zach McLaughlin added 17 points for Hampden (7-7) while JJ Wolfington had 16 and Brandon Butterfield 12.
Kyle LePage scored 15 points, while Patrick McKenney added 14 to lead Skowhegan (8-6). Adam Savage scored 10 points.
CARRABEC 69, TELSTAR 23: Luke Carey led the Cobras (8-6) with 22 points in a win over the Rebels (1-11) in Bethel.
Carey made three 3-pointers. Joel Gehrke also had a big game, scoring 18 points for Carrabec.
Wyatt Lilly led Telstar with 10 points.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
KENTS HILL 55, MADISON 29: Logan McDonald scored 18 points as the Huskies remained unbeaten with a win in Madison.
Regina Sabirova added 16 points for Kents Hill (14-0) while Rose Jenkins scored 15.
Madison (9-5) was led by Ali Griffeth with six points.
OAK HILL 42, MT. ABRAM 37: Ariana Thibeault’s big third quarter was the catalyst for the Raiders overcoming an eight-point halftime deficit and winning in Salem Township.
Thibeault scored 13 of Oak Hill’s (7-7) 15 third-quarter points, and the Raiders went from trailing 26-18 at half to leading 33-32 heading into the fourth.
Thibeault finished with a game-high 24 points. Peyton Gonya added eight points and Aubrey McElhaney had six for the Raiders.
Abi Wilcox led Mt. Abram (5-8) with nine points, and Jenna Osgood scored eight.
