
In honor of January being Vocational Service month, the Oxford Hills Rotary Club invited guest speakers to attend its meetings and share their vocation with the members.
Each speaker is thanked and presented a framed certificate of appreciation, according to a news release from Patty Rice, club member.
Newly retired Norway Fire Chief Dennis Yates recently shared his vocation. He has worked for the Norway Fire Department for 48 years, serving as chief for the last 13 years.
School Administrative District 17 Interim Superintendent Heather Manchester spoke about her extensive education background, both as a teacher and an administrator.
The club meets at 7:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St.
