WORCESTER, Mass. — Worcester Polytechnic Institute has named seven local students to its 2022 fall dean’s list.
They are Juliet Bolduc of Lewiston, majoring in biochemistry, class of 2024; Vanessa Bussiere of Lisbon Falls, majoring in architectural engineering, class of 2023; and Ava Chadbourne of Sweden, majoring in computer science, class of 2025.
Also, Noah Cyr of Minot, majoring in data science, class of 2026; Elijah Fournier of Carrabassett Valley, majoring in aerospace engineering, class of 2026; Cole Ouellette of Mechanic Falls, majoring in computer science, class of 2024; and Morgan Temple of Bowdoinham, undecided major, class of 2025.
The criteria for the WPI dean’s list differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average. Instead, WPI defines the dean’s list by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
