
Auburn resident Janet Laird-Lagassee is among more than 75 artists participating in the 2023 New England Watercolor Society Signature Members Show, running through Sunday, Feb. 26.
Laird-Lagassee’s work, “Sunlit Leafy Pear,” earned The Guild of Boston Artists Award for Realism, according to a news release from the artist.
Laird-Lagassee has earned signature membership in the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society.
Bringing together the work of many of New England’s finest watercolor artists, the show is held at the Guild of Boston Artists, 162 Newbury St., in Boston.
Internationally acclaimed artist Eudes Correira is this year’s exhibition judge.
