
Maine Arts Academy recently welcomed members of Scout Troop 603 of Augusta who volunteered to clean at their new location.
The academy has purchased the former Maine Veterans’ Home on Cony Road in Augusta, according to a news release from Diane Manter at the academy.
The Scouts included Zach Corson, Anthony Fortin, Jacob Blais, Elizabeth Blais, Willow Mudie, Tristan Morton and Jeffrey Mason. The adults included Jon Martin, Michael Fortin, Becky Blais, Jeff Morton, Marlene Lajoie and Doug Mason.
