FORT WORTH, Texas – Nancy J Havens, 86, passed away on Jan. 23, 2023, at her residence in Ft Worth, Texas.

She was born in Richmond, on Sept. 4, 1936, the daughter of Nelson G. and Opal (Sheldon) Pickett.

Nancy was a member of AARP. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, traveling and fishing.

She was predeceased by her first husband Willard “Bill” E. Holman, also of Richmond; her second husband Maylon (Buck) D. Havens; her father Nelson G. Pickett; her mother Opal S. Pickett: her brothers Blaine Pickett, Walter Pickett, Donald Pickett and Peter Pickett; and her sister Catherine Pickett.

Nancy is survived by children Susan Holliday of Texas and Pamela Holman of Texas; granddaughter Jazmin Ramirez of Texas; great granddaughter Isabel Garza of Texas; sisters Anita Meserve of Maine, Cora Gardner of Maine, Clara Trussell of Maine; and brothers Orrin Pickett of Wyoming and Richard Pickett of Maine; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
