Reynold Joseph Thibodeau Sr.

NORRIDGEWOCK – It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our amazing and loving father, Reynold Joseph Thibodeau, Sr., 82, of Norridgewock. He passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday March 1, 2023 surrounded by family and his loving cat, Sweet Pea.

Reynold was born Dec. 10, 1940 to his parents Nelson Thibodeau and Clarabelle Coro. He had brothers and sisters as well.

Reynold worked many of years at Clinton Transfer Station in Clinton and Thorndike Transfer Station in Thorndike for years as well.

Reynolds surviving children are daughter, Rhonda Klein and partner Artie of Winslow, son, Reynold Thibodeau III of Norridgewock, son, Ronnie Thibodeau and partner Trish of Waterville, son, Richard Thibodeau and Mindy of Albion, son, Gary Giles and wife Lottie of Vassalboro, daughter, Beth Wiener and husband Chris of Minnesota, daughter, Valerie Vaillancort of Florida, and more. He has many nieces and nephews; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

He always saw the good in everyone and discarded items. He enjoyed playing Bingo, playing cards and dice games with family and friends. Especially sharing his plain donuts with his cat sweet pea.

We would like to send a special thank you to Dan and Scotts Cremation and also Maine General Hospice for the great care they provided.

There will be a day of remembrance in the spring and it will be announced soon, along with a burial as well at Sunset View Cemetery in Norridgewock.
