SANFORD, N.C. – Ronald E. Brown, 83, of Sanford, N.C., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023. Ron passed away of natural causes.

He was born in Newport on March 16, 1940 and spent most of his life in Skowhegan where he went to school and graduated.

In 1978 he moved to Sanford, N.C. where he opened his own business, Double B Enterprise and still worked at until his passing.

He enjoyed playing Bingo and taking care of his yard.

He was predeceased by his parents Leon and Leona (Burleigh) Brown; and stepson, JR Berry. He is survived by a sister, Marilyn of Skowhegan; his daughter, Sherri and stepson, Rodney of Sanford, N.C.

He was a great father and a good friend to everyone
