Our governor and political leaders must get their heads out of the sand and realize that we are accountable for our actions before God.
Choosing abortion might seem like a quick fix for an inconvenient situation, but the long-term emotional mark that results, but is never talked about, is tragic and profound – not only to women who go through with the procedure but also to the doctors and medical staff who perform it. There are safe and favorable alternatives to this devastating choice – we must please encourage these.
Abortion laws as they stand now have taken the lives of millions of human beings over the years.
America will stand accountable before God. It is unavoidable. I beseech my fellow Mainers and politicians to stand up and stop this bill before it becomes law.
