GREENE — Crews responded to a garage fire at 102 Wood Lane on Sunday afternoon, officials said.
The call came in at 3:18 p.m. No injuries were reported.
Fire Chief John Soucy said crews found considerable flames in the front half of a garage attached to the home. Flames were quickly knocked down and the house had minimal, if any, smoke damage.
“They could smell it a little bit, but for the most part it was almost untouched,” Soucy said.
Fire departments from Sabattus, Wales, Monmouth, Leeds and Turner also responded.
