Ronald David St. Hilaire
HALLOWELL – Ronald David St. Hilaire, 59, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 22, 2023. He was born in Augusta on Aug. 23, 1963, the son of Real and Edith (Savage) St. Hilaire. He attended St. Augustine School and Cony High School.
Ronnie lived in the greater Augusta area his entire life. He was a long time member of the Eagles Club and was employed by Kirschner Meats for over 15 years. Ronnie’s most prized possession was his Harley Davidson Fat Boy. It was a lifelong dream of his to own a Harley and he enjoyed every mile he rode. Ronnie was also a dedicated sports fan, closely following both the Red Sox and his beloved Boston Bruins.
In recent years, he developed a passion for working on movie sets. He was an extra in a dozen movies across the state, which earned him several credits on IMDb. Being involved in movies brought him great joy and happiness. He treasured the memories he made on-set with wonderful friends and his little sister, Michelle. Some of his other passions included spending time with his family, especially hunting with his nephew, Randy, and his father and best friend, Real. He was also an avid bowler for many years.
Ronnie had a kind, caring heart! He showed love and compassion to his long-time friend, Ann, by stepping in as her sole caregiver for the last year of her life. Even during tough times, he would do anything he could to help others.
He was predeceased by both of his parents; his nephew, Randy Gaboury; and long time friend, Ann Lavallee.
