Winslow Community Cupboard food pantry plans to hold a Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny event from 8:30-11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at Winslow Congregational Church, 12 Lithgow St.
Parents, grandparents and youths can get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny, as well as with real bunnies. There also will be a Kids Power Wheel Raffle, Easter crafts, live baby goats and Charm the mini-pony, according to a news release from the food pantry.
The cost of the breakfast is $5, with all proceeds benefiting the food pantry.
Those who may not be able to attend but would like to donate to the food pantry can do so by visiting winslowucc.org.
The pantry serves food-insecure children, seniors and other adults from Winslow, Waterville, and 22 surrounding towns.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
