Nicole Paulette (Bilodeau) Thomson

PORTLAND – Nicole Paulette (Bilodeau) Thomson, 76, passed away on April 5, 2023, at Maine Medical Center. She was born in Canada to the late Louis and Laurentia Bilodeau. She married Brian H. Thomson on March 24, 1973, and they were married for 29 years before his passing in 2004.

Nicole was employed by Scott Paper Company for many years. For the last several years she was a bus monitor for the MSAD49 Transportation Department. She greatly enjoyed all the children and drivers but was extremely fond of the children on her Albion route and bus driver, Kathy Hotham. She previously volunteered at Oak Grove Living Center in Waterville where she played Bingo with the residents. She looked forward to her nightly visits with friends for coffee. She was a communicant of St. John’s Catholic Church in Winslow.

Survivors are her children, Melissa and her husband Adam of Albion; Brian K. Thomson of Winslow; her granddaughters of whom she was extremely proud, Abigail and Hannah Higgins of Albion; brother Jean Marc Bilodeau and his wife Suzanne; sister Doris Boulette and her husband Richard; brother Richard

Bilodeau and his wife Donna; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Brian H.; her sister Ginette Cathcart; her sister in law Carolyn Davis-Webb.

A Christian Burial at St. Francis Cemetery will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
