MOUNT VERNON — The Marti Stevens Interactive Improvisational Theater is set to perform at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at Mount Vernon Community Center, 2 Main St.
The actors will perform scenarios about challenges older Mainers encounter as they live and age in their communities.
Scenes will be followed by opportunities for the audience to ask questions of the players “in character” and to suggest possible solutions to the challenges presented.
This free performance is funded by Spectrum Generations through an AARP grant.
The theater is sponsored by the Dr. Shaw Memorial Library and the Aging in Place Committee.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
