Clara M. (Morrison) Campbell

LINCOLN – Clara M. (Morrison) Campbell, 89, of Springfield, Maine, passed away unexpectedly Sunday April 9, 2023 at Lincoln Hospital. She was born Nov. 5, 1933, the daughter of Charles and Georgiana Morrison.

She married Raymond M. Campbell on August 27, 1950, they were married for over 69 years. They lived in Springfield for over 42 years, where they raised their younger children. She had 14 children, daughters, Gloria, Marie, Sylvia, Brenda, Gail, Pamela, Wilda, Cindy, Pauline, and Cathy, sons, Vernal, Raymond Jr., Clarence, Eugene, and her grandson Peter Campbell. She has many grandchildren, great, and great-great grandchildren that she loves dearly.

She has touched so many hearts along her journey and taught so many. She loved her visits when all of her friends and family came. She always had an open and kind heart, and helped everyone. Her dog Foxy and cat Buddy were dear to her heart. She enjoyed her garden, crocheting, fishing, canning and loved the outdoors. Her cooking never seemed to disappoint a soul, everyone would always leave with a full belly.

Clara was predeceased by her parents; husband Raymond Campbell; son Vernal, and daughters Sylvia, and Marie.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on May 7 at Fairveiw Cemetery in Canaan, Maine.
