The Rangeley Friends of the Arts group plans to produce a live musical “DIVA, A Love Story” in July.
Auditions will be held from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at the RFA Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St. Those who can’t make that audition date, or need help finding a song with which to audition, can email Erin Smith at [email protected].
Auditions are open to everyone, regardless of past stage experience and to some new talent.
Those auditioning should be prepared to present a song to a karaoke track or recording. Those interested in being involved but not as a soloist are encouraged to come, according to a news release from Diane Bellington with Rangeley Friends of the Arts.
Needed are back up dancers and singers, as well as stage crew, set design, lighting and sound techs.
To complete and submit the audition form, visit rangeleyarts.org and click on the Get Involved Tab Open — Auditions: DIVA, A Love Story.
The performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, July 6-9.
