The Rangeley Friends of the Arts plans to hold the ninth annual Western Mountain Photography Show exhibit from Saturday, Sept. 9, through Monday, Oct. 2.
It will feature an awards reception from 5:30-7 p.m. Sept. 9, at the Lakeside Contemporary Art Gallery, located in the lobby of the RFA Lakeside Theater at 2493 Main St., according to a news release from the arts organization.
The theme for the exhibit is “Perspective.”
It’s a juried exhibit with awards. Photographers can submit up to three images to earn cash prizes in two categories.
During the entire exhibit, attendees can vote for their favorite image in the People’s Choice competition.
The deadline for digital submissions in Monday, July 17. Photographers interested in submitting work can visit rangeleyarts.org.
The public event and reception, featuring complimentary snacks and a cash bar (beer/wine), will display accepted images, announce winners and award prizes.
