Ivan “Ike” Chadbourne

HARMONY – Ivan “Ike” Chadbourne, 59, of Harmony, Maine, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 25, 2023.

Ike loved trucking, whether it was hauling wood, potatoes, lumber or frozen foods. He even tried cattle hauling. Ike loved to talk (he must have been one of Verizions best customers) and make new friends. He has friends all over, including Alberta, Canada.

He had a smile that would draw in a crowd. He loved family gatherings, playing corn hole, fireworks, cookouts and cruising on the ships. He left a print where ever he went. Ike was always ready to hello anyone, anywhere at any time.

He was always looking forward to what would come next and not back. He was an old-fashioned man and loved antiques. Ike enjoyed working at his old farmhouse in RIpley and his new home in Harmony.

Ike was predeceased by his parents, Ivan and Joan Chadbourne, his younger brother Aaron Chardbourne and his nephew Jeremy Lane.

Ike is survived by his fiance, Tracy Guilbert and stepson Silas Waterhouse of Harmony. His son, Nate Chadbourne of Palmyra. His stepdaughter Danyell Coro and grandson Davonne Nadeau of Waterville. Brothers Bernard Chadbourne and wife Diane of Ripley. Neil Chadbourne and wife Bertie of Ripley. Sister in law, Veronica Dourant and husband Steven and Jeanine Jarvis and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
