Ricky K. “Lemon” Morang

AUGUSTA – Ricky K. “Lemon” Morang, 69, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. He was born in Augusta, on February 25, 1954, a son of Karl G. and Alice Y. (Alexopoulos) Morang.

Lemon attended Augusta schools and had been employed for many years at Miller’s Thumb Pub and, later, Hazel Greens as a cook.

He was pre-deceased by his father, Karl G. Morang and a brother, James L. Morang.

Lemon is survived by his mother, Alice Y. (Alexopoulos) Morang of Winthrop; two sisters: Cindy S. Miville of Winthrop and Anne F. Chadwick of Bangor; a brother, Mark N. Morang of Hallowell as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff at Capitol City Manor for the care and compassion they showed to Lemon during his time in their care.

At his request, there will be no public visiting hours or funeral service. Burial will be at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta.
