Melinda S. (Quint) Horan

AUGUSTA – Melinda S. (Quint) Horan, 65, died unexpectedly Friday June 9, 2023, at her home. She was born in Houlton, on March 11, 1958, daughter of the late Cyril E. and Evelyn (Oliver) Quint.

Melinda earned her associate degree and had been employed by MaineGeneral Medical Center for many years as an X-ray/MRI technician.

Melinda was pre-deceased by her husband of 45 years, Robert M. Horan; three brothers: Alan, Gehrig and Brent Quint; and four sisters: Claire Quint, Judy Hutchinson, Sharon Quint and Sally Danubio.

She is survived by her daughter, Meagan Dick, her husband Seth, and their children Robbie, Sydney, and Ellia; her son, Christopher Horan and his children Paeshance and Cassandra; brothers Pedro Quint of Benton and Kurt Quint of Lincolnville; sister Sharol Putnam of Hodgdon; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no public visiting hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
