June Ann Carr

AUGUSTA – June Ann Carr, 72, a resident of Monmouth, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta with her loving family by her side. She was born on March 9, 1951, in Augusta, the daughter of Freeman Eugley and Mary (Smith) Eugley.

She was a graduate of Cony High School, class of 1969. On Oct. 6, 1974, in Chelsea, she married Francis Carr. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a loving sister and aunt. June was very active in her children’s activities, being a brownie troop leader, cub scout leader and vice president of the Monmouth Little League.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Francis Carr of Monmouth; her daughter, Terri Urquhart and husband Paul of Bangor, four sons, Steven Carr and fiancé Rose Rodrick of Sidney, Roger Carr and wife Sherri, Gary Carr, Joe Carr and wife Leslie all of Monmouth; four grandchildren, Jaxson Urquhart, Nicholas Carr, Quinn Carr, Cody Carr; one great granddaughter, Zoey Carr; three sisters, Pricilla Thorpe and husband Jon of Las Vegas, Nev., Jane Dumas of Madison, Jill Eugley and husband Richard Dumas of Whitefield; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Jerry Eugley, John Eugley, two sisters, Patricia Sevigny, Pauline Dumas, and a brother-in-law, Raymond Carr.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main Street, Monmouth, Maine. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023. Interment will be at the Monmouth Ridge Cemetery, Cemetery Road Monmouth, Maine
