Wayne Community Church plans to hold its annual silent auction online from Saturday to Saturday, July 1-8, at biddingforgood.com/wayneumc.
This auction will begin at 9 a.m. July 1 and end at 4 p.m. July 8.
Besides the silent auction for BiddingFoodGood, there will be an additional small silent auction featuring local items. This will be held in the church’s Fellowship Hall at 22 Old Winthrop Road.
All items from both silent auctions can be viewed in person from 4-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, July 6 and 7, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 8, also in Fellowship Hall.
The live auction will be held from 3-4 p.m. July 8. Refreshments will be provided.
The auction will include autographed items, restaurants, food, golf, home, bed and breakfasts, boat rides and leisure, such as a charter fishing trip, a charter fishing with snorkeling, a folding kayak, a train ride for two in the White Mountains with dinner, a winery visit with a group, theater tickets, and an olive oil tasting for 10.
Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the Wayne Community Church and Community Outreach programs.
All auctions will close at 4 p.m. July 8.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
