A total of 120 KeyBank employees-turned-volunteers throughout Key’s Maine market joined KeyBank employees across the nation on June 13 in leaving their bank offices to volunteer for various local community organizations, projects, and causes during the bank’s 32nd annual Neighbors Make the Difference Day.

KeyBank has 32 branches in nine Maine counties, including Kennebec.
Employees volunteered at 20 community organizations. Locally employees did yard work at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society in Augusta, and did spring clean up at the Travis Mills Foundation in Mount Vernon.
Neighbors Make the Difference Day is one of KeyBank’s most visible community volunteer projects. Nationally, KeyBank teammates will provide more than 16,000 volunteer hours. Some employees stay at select KeyBank branches and offices for normal operations.
