Max A. Etheridge

NORRIDGEWOCK – Max A. Etheridge, 79, of Norridgewock, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2023 following a battle with heart complications. Max was born May 26, 1944 in Galitzin, Pa. He served one full term in the U.S Navy, he lived in many eastern states, eventually settling down in Maine.

Max retired in 2009 as a welder. He then picked up a hobby DJing music “Mad Max & Co”. He had many loves, which included motorcycles, music, hanging with friends and telling funny jokes. He also enjoyed spending time with his mini dachshunds Molly and Oliver.

Max was quite the ladies man, but his last love was Holly Ann, his wife of 23 years and best friend of 25 years. She was by his side to the end.

Max leaves behind his beloved Holly Ann of Norridgewock, his sisters Andrea B. Kelly of Jersey, Ga., Debra A. Hubger; son Jeff; and grandson Cameron. Max was preceded in death by his father Claud Etheridge, mother Ann; and brother Andrew.

A small celebration of life gathering will be held at Max and Holly’s residents on a later date. It will be announced to those who knew and loved him.
