The Pittston Fair is set for Thursday through Sunday, July 13-16, at the Pittston Fairgrounds on Mast Road.
Gates open at 8 a.m. each day. Midway opens at 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and at noon Saturday and Sunday.
The event will feature vendors, rides, horse and ox pulling, children’s activities, educational demonstrations and exhibits. The fair is home of the Maine Strawberry Queen Pageant.
Major events include the exhibit hall, 4-H events and exhibits, horse and ox pulling and children’s events.
Admission costs $8 for those 13 and older. Children 12 and younger are free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
Camping is available for $25 per night. No dogs or pets are allowed on the fairgrounds.
