Christopher Allen Thwing

ATHENS – Born Feb. 10, 1988, the son of Rick Thwing and Wanda Butler, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2023 as result of injuries sustained while working at a job he loved doing.

He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his children Jasmine and Thomas Thwing. He is also survived by his mother, Wanda Butler; girlfriend, Brittany Mills; sisters Victoria Avery (Roger) and Jessica Kneeland Thwing, and brother, Donald Butler (Jaime); and several nieces and nephews; and grandfather, David Thwing.

The family will be hosting a private graveside service at a later date for both Christopher and his father, Rick, to be laid to rest together.
