WALDOBORO — The Lincoln County Democratic Committee plans to host its annual Family Fun Day Lobster Bake from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6.
The event will occur under the Democratic big tent at Cider Hill Farm at 785 Main St.
The event, open to the public, will feature live music, freshly shucked local oysters and grassroots politicking. The afternoon begins with a social hour followed by dinner at 1 p.m. Short speeches by representatives in government and special guests follow, and there will be opportunities to support the LCDC via three separate onsite raffles.
