AUGUSTA — The Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce plans to host the sixth annual Kennebec River Brewfest from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Mill Park.
This year’s Brewfest, presented by Highbrow, features a variety of local breweries, wineries, distilleries and meaderies.
With over 30 brewers to choose from, attendees can get a taste of the craft beer and spirit industry in Maine. From Augusta to Bangor to Portland and beyond, craft beer and spirits continue to grow in the state. Food vendors, live music, lawn games, and more will all be available at the event.
Brewfest attendees will be given wristbands to identify them, including a wristband for the designated driver of the group.
Tickets cost $50 in advance or $60 at the door. All tickets include a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited four-ounce beer tastings and half-ounce spirit tastings. Designated driver tickets cost $5 per person and provide access to the Brewfest as well as complimentary water.
This year’s live music will include a lineup of local talent starring Country Roads, The Court Jesters, and Ellis Falls.
