John B. “Jack” Cahill

MERCER – We are sad to announce the passing of John B. Cahill, “Jack” of Mercer, Maine. He died at age 70 on July 21, 2023. Jack passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loved ones.

He grew up in New York before moving to Mercer, Maine where he was the proud owner of Central Maintenance. He is survived by his wife, Thippawan Pengthong and many dear friends who will miss him greatly. As Jack would always say, it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.

Visiting hours will be held at Wheeler Funeral Home in Oakland on Monday, August 7, from 5-7 p.m., closing with a brief service at 6:30 p.m.
