Heather Genness

BELGRADE – Heather Lynn Genness, passed away on Tuesdy, July 25, 2023. Heather was born on November 3, 1981, in Waterville, Maine, was a beacon of light, known for her smart mind, charismatic personality, loyal nature, and the humor she brought to every room she entered. Living in Belgrade, Maine, Heather’s heart was deeply rooted in her family, for whom she cared for as a dedicated homemaker. She loved living on the Belgrade lakes and enjoyed kayaking and would create intricate and beautiful sketches.

Heather graduated top of her class in industrial technology, a testament to her intelligence and determination. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit, invincible. She was a friend to many, an ally to all, and will be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Richard Skeel, her devoted mother, Erlile Pelletier, stepfather, Randy Pelletier, her proud children, Brittany Works and Wyatt Eads, and her brothers, Matthew Genness and Ernest Day.

Heather was preceded in death by her father, Edward Day Jr., maternal grandmother, Gladys Reynolds, and paternal grandparents, Edward Day Sr., and Gwendolyn Day.
