Elm City Bridge Club
Ken Harvey and Diane Bishop finished first at the Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville during the Aug. 1 duplicate bridge session. Second place went to Ed and Joyce Rushton, and third to Wilma Pouliot and Janine Prewitt.
Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Wednesday, Aug. 2 were Ken Harvey and Nancy Lenfest. Ron Cote and David Offer placed second, and Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman placed third.
The winners for Thursday, Aug. 3 were Tom Simmons and Peter Dickson. Paul Sherman and Dennis Purington placed second, and David Offer and Ben Lund placed third.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who want to play but need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
