
Augusta resident Jennifer Fortin won the national title of USA SLICC Ambassador Miss/Ms./Mrs. 2023 on July 26 at Margaritaville Resort Orlando in Kissimmee, Florida.
The pageant is a charity-driven organization that promotes success through leadership, integrity, character and confidence (SLICC), strongly emphasizing community service.
Fortin also won the community service award in her division, and the gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award for serving over 1,000 hours this past year, according to a news release from Fortin.
