
Mark Danforth Swett
THE VILLAGES, Fla. – Mark Danforth Swett, 69, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2023, at his home in the Villages, Fla.
Mark was born on Feb. 28, 1954, in Corning, N,Y, to Alton and Barbara Swett. He graduated from Corning Community College and SUNY at Oswego State University. He went on to teach industrial arts for 36 years; 35 of those at Lawrence High School. He was a creator, a builder whose proverb was to “Measure Twice -Cut Once.”
Mark is survived by his wife, Pam; daughter Brooks (Steve) Bicknell; grandchildren, A1C Dante Blevins USAF and Kaitlyn Bicknell; son, Shawn Bard (Jenn and the kids). Also, by a brother Allen (Janice) Swett; nieces and cousins and their families.
