BANGOR — Layla Conway scored three goals and added two assists to lead the Skowhegan field hockey team to a 6-0 victory over Bangor on Wednesday night.
Elli Quinn scored a goal and had three assists for the River Hawks (2-0).
Sophie Noyes also scored. Sydalia Savage, Kaylee Bruce and Masyn Atwood all had assists.
OAK HILL 4, TELSTAR 0: Madalyn Sikora set up the first goal and scored the second as the Raiders improved to 2-0 with a win over the Rebels (0-2) in Bethel.
Sikora assisted on Izzy Whitaker’s goal in the first quarter, then scored in the second quarter off an assist by Lexy Pelkey. Olivia French and Grace Behne added fourth-quarter goals for Oak Hill. Janiah McKay set up Behne’s tally.
Telstar goalie Lindsy Stephenson made 23 saves.
WINTHROP/MONMOUTH/MARANACOOK 4, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 1: Madeline Wagner scored three times to lead the Ramblers to the win in Winthrop.
Wagner’s second goal gave Winthrop/Monmouth/Maranacook (2-0) the lead in the second quarter, then she added two more in the fourth.
Winthrop freshman Raegan Littlefield scored the first goal on a rebound, then Mountain Valley (0-2) freshman Melina Byam scored off an assist by Kaylani Sinclair to even the score at 1-1.
Falcons goalie Brooke Brown stopped 14 shots.
BOYS SOCCER
CARRABEC 8, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Desmond Robinson scored twice to lead the Cobras to victory in Jay.
Isaiah Haynes, Logan Caldwell, Christopher Caruso, Seth Price and Lucas Vicneire each added one goal for Carrabec (2-0-0).
Spruce Mountain (0-3-0) goalie Trevor Hogan made three saves.
