Karen Jean (Dixon) Reay

NORRIDGEWOCK – Karen (Dixon) Reay, 60, passed away on Aug. 31, 2023. She was born in Danvers, Mass., to Alphonso and Beverly Dixon.

Karen was a great waitress for many years working in both Minneapolis, Minn., and Maine. She also worked in two factories in Maine and was a CNA and CRMA. She loved her grandchildren and playing cards.

She was predeceased by her father, Alphonso Sr.; brother, James Dixon; son Joshua Reay; grandson, Caleb Joshua; and several aunts and uncles.

Karen is survived by mother, Beverly Dixon; daughter, Melissa Reay and boyfriend Chris; grandchildren, Alexis, Joey, Lilly, Anthony, Sera, Joslin, and Keira; brothers Aaron Dixon and wife Shannon, Alphonso Dixon Jr. and fiancée Zelma Gould; boyfriend, Mark Mercier; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at her mother’s house on Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. at 82 Smithfield Rd. in Norridgewock.
