SOUTH CHINA — Ashlee Jarns scored two goals as the Maine Central Institute field hockey team defeated Erskine Academy 4-3 on Wednesday.
Charlotte Peaslee had a goal and an assist and Norah Jamison added a goal for MCI (2-3). Goalie Chichi Rivers made five saves.
Bryanna Barrett scored two goals and Addy Mort one for Erskine (1-5). Lilly Clark, Parker Minzy and Hannah Cohen-Mackin each had an assist, and goalie Andra Cowing made eight saves.
HALL-DALE 4, BOOTHBAY 0: Mira Skehan scored twice as the Bulldogs (2-1) won in Farmingdale.
Delaney MacDonald and Hannah Rauch also scored for Hall-Dale, while MacDonald, Brooke Michaud and Torie Tibbetts added assists. Goalie Jade Graham made six saves.
Boothbay is 0-3.
MESSALONSKEE 9, HAMPDEN ACADEMY 0: Alexa Caccamo had a hat trick as the Eagles (2-1) won handily in Oakland.
Chloe Masse and Abby Stevens had two goals apiece, while Chloe Michaud and Payton Alexander added one each. Stevens, Alexander and Sophia Ventimiglia each assisted.
Jada Bilodeau was credited with 41 saves for Hampden (1-4).
