A Sanford man who was reported missing Thursday was found Saturday afternoon trapped inside his vehicle, which had gone off the road and into an embankment.

Robert C. Brown, 65, was found in Dover, New Hampshire, near the Maine state line, by people who were walking in the woods and saw his pickup truck.

He had last been seen Thursday after he dropped off his wife at work in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Brown was taken to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover with non-life-threatening injuries, Sanford police Maj. Matthew Gagne said.

Police are still investigating what happened, but Gagne said it appears Brown’s truck went off the road near River and Washington streets in Dover. The vehicle was stuck at the bottom of an embankment, and Brown was trapped inside.
