Marion Louise Goodrich

KILLINGWORTH, Conn. – Marion Goodrich, 86, of Killingworth, Conn., born in Kingsbury, Maine, passed away Monday Sept. 18, 2023, peacefully at home. She leaves behind her loving husband of 66 years Lionel Goodrich, her son Brian Goodrich, daughter-in-law Chaye Goodrich, her daughter Valerie Mcdonnell, and son-in-law Sean Mcdonnell.

She was a loving gram to four grandchildren, David Goodrich, Stephanie Londin, Allen Goodrich and Joshua Miner and two great grandchildren, Connor and Autumn.

Marion grew up in Athens, Maine with her parents Gertrude and Harold Tuttle and four siblings, then married Lionel and moved to Connecticut to start their life and family.

She was loved by all for her funny outspoken ways. She worked part time at Great American Trading in Deep River where she made wooden toys and yo-yos. She was known by many children as the yo-yo lady.

She enjoyed her time in the summer with Lionel at their summer camp where she spent time with family and friends.

She is survived by her brother Jim. She was predeceased by her three siblings, Anna, Virginia, Richard; and her beloved son Danny who passed in 1978.

She will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of life will be held at Swan Funeral Home in Clinton, Conn. on Oct. 7 at 11 a.m.
